PTFE Thread Seal Tape
Klinger threadseal tapes offer a clean, quick and highly effective means of sealing threaded pipe fittings in the engineering chemical and electrical industries .
These tapes are manufactured from PTFE and hence are insert and resistant to most media . They are also colour coded for ease of identification.
The high conformability of KLINGER thread seal PTFE enables it to defrom to the exact contours of the thread so as to form a prefect seal for pressures up to as high as 25,000kPa (approx 245bar)
Klinger Theradseal is supplied in spools so that it can be wound direct onto the pipe thread. A 50% overlap is recommended for all applications.
